This policy explains what AeroEdge collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. We keep it specific — every company your data is sent to is named below.

Who we are

AeroEdge is operated by SpeedEdge Performance Inc., a company based in Canada (the “data controller”). “AeroEdge”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to this company throughout.

We serve users in Canada and the European Union. EU/EEA users’ data is processed under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); Canadian users’ data under PIPEDA.

What we collect

• Account details — your email address and either a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text) or, if you use “Continue with Google”, your Google account identity.
• Ride & sensor files and derived analysis — the activity/sensor files you upload and the results we compute from them (e.g. CdA, power, speed, GPS position, virtual elevation).
• Bike-fit data — bike measurements you enter or import from a fit report.
• Course data — GPX route files you upload for pacing.
• Subscription status — your plan and its billing state (active, past due, cancelled, etc.).

Payment cards: we do not collect or store your card number. Card data is entered on Stripe’s checkout and held by Stripe; we only receive your subscription status and a customer reference.

Service providers (sub-processors)

To run AeroEdge we share data with the providers below. Data is processed in Canada, the EU, and the United States; where it crosses borders, the relevant safeguards for international transfers apply.

Lawful basis (GDPR)

• Performance of a contract — to provide the service you signed up for (storing and analysing your data, running your subscription).
• Legitimate interests — to keep the service secure and reliable, including error monitoring.
• Consent — for optional features such as Google sign-in, and for any marketing email (which you can withdraw at any time).

Who can see your data

• You — your data is yours.
• Professionals you link to — if you actively link a coach or fitter, that professional gets read-and-edit access to your sessions, runs and bikes for as long as the link is active. You can revoke the link at any time.
• Our administrators — only for support you have consented to. We do not routinely read your raw session data, and there is no standing admin access to it.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When your account is deleted, the deletion cascades: your test sessions, runs, bikes, courses, profile and any linked Google sign-in identity are removed, and any coupon you redeemed is freed for reuse. Backups and provider logs may retain residual copies for a limited period before they age out.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Today, account deletion and support requests are handled via speededgeperformanceb@gmail.com; a self-service data export is on our roadmap. To exercise any right, just email us.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie — ae_session — to keep you signed in. It is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and Secure in production. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be surfaced in the app where appropriate.
